Tracking via the Web
There is no need to deploy additional software in your company.
No need for client software.
No per-seat licensing structures.
No client management fees.
No maintenance that such clients require.
Immediate implementation using common IT tools. This allows the STS Tracking Service to be accessed from anywhere an internet connection is available.
Standalone PC Software
For users with from one to a few hundred assets, STS provides Windows based tracking software to allow you to track your assets in a self-contained package running on a PC in your office. An internet connection is required, but since the maps and tracking system are on the PC and not a web-server the bandwidth requirements are small. A dial-up connection should be sufficient for all but the largest fleets.
Client-Server Tracking
For larger companies with many assets and users, STS offers a more robust client-server solution. Multiple clients can be pointed to a single server to track hundreds or even thousands of assets. The clients can be segregated if desired such that each division or organization within your company only sees the assets it is responsible for. The server can be hosted at STS or at your designated location.
